Auto Clicker : Tap Helper

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 22, 2026

Auto Clicker : Tap Helper is built to know as little about you as possible. There is no account, no analytics and no server of ours that stores your data. This page explains, in plain words, what stays on your device, what leaves it, and why.

What the app is

Tap Helper is a web browser with an auto clicker inside it: you place targets on a page and the app taps them at the speed you choose. It also includes a step-by-step guide to Switch Control, Apple's own accessibility feature, and Tap Lab, a canvas to practise a tapping rhythm. Taps only happen inside the app's browser; the app cannot see or touch other apps.

What stays on your device

These are saved only on your iPhone or iPad, in the app's own storage:

• your saved scripts (site address, target positions, actions and timings, auto-scroll and auto-refresh settings);

• the last 12 sites you opened (address, title and time);

• your Switch Control guide checklist and the last step you viewed;

• your Tap Lab best score and recorded rhythm;

• your settings, your language and whether you have seen the welcome card;

• the cookies and site data that websites store in the browser.

None of this is copied to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

The browser and the sites you open

When you open a page, your device connects straight to that website, as Safari would. The site receives what any browser sends: your IP address, the browser's standard identification and the cookies it set earlier. What a website does with that is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.

When you type words that are not an address, they go to the search engine chosen in the app's Settings (Google, Bing or DuckDuckGo), which shows the results.

To tap, scroll and refresh, the app adds a small script to the page you are viewing. It runs only inside that page, on your device. When you use “Stop when the page shows…”, the app reads the page's text on your device to look for your words; that text is never stored or sent anywhere. The Tap Lab page is part of the app and works offline.

No account, no analytics

You never create an account or give us your name or e-mail address to use the app. The app contains no analytics or crash-reporting tools, and we do not sell data about you. The only things that reach us are the settings request described below and the e-mails you choose to send to support.

Remote settings

When it starts, the app downloads a small settings file from our server. It holds only the ad unit numbers, the public key the app uses to talk to RevenueCat and how often ads may show. It never turns on, changes or hides a feature of the app. The request carries nothing about you beyond what every internet request carries (your IP address) and the app's name and version. If the file can't be reached, the app uses the copy built into it.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob: now and then a full-screen ad before you press Play, use a preset or open a saved script, and small ad cards in the Scripts and Presets lists and in Settings. No ad is ever shown inside the browser or while the clicker, auto-scroll or auto-refresh is running, so an automatic tap can never reach an ad.

To show ads, Google receives your IP address, device details (model, iOS version, language), how you interact with ads, your consent choices and, only if you allow tracking, your device's advertising identifier. Google never receives the pages you visit in the app's browser, your scripts or your taps. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form (UMP) asks for your choice first. Google's own privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy. Premium removes all ads.

Tracking permission

On iPhone and iPad, iOS asks once whether the app may track you. If you allow it, Google may use your advertising identifier to show ads that fit you better. If you don't, you still see ads, just less personal ones, and every feature works the same. You can change your answer at any time on your device in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Purchases (App Store and RevenueCat)

Premium is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your card or Apple Account details. The app uses RevenueCat to check whether Premium is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier created for this app, your App Store purchase records for this app and basic device details (iOS version, store country). It never receives your name or e-mail address. RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.

Permissions

The only permission the app asks for is tracking (above). It never asks for your camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location or notifications. The “Open Settings” button in the guide simply opens the Settings app; it gives the app no access to anything. When you import a script, iOS lets you pick one file and the app reads only that file. Keeping the screen awake while the clicker runs and the optional vibration on each tap need no permission.

Children

Because it contains an open web browser, the app carries a high age rating on the App Store and is not meant for children. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the app collects no personal information from anyone.

Your choices

• Clear history, cookies and site data: Clear browsing data in the app's Settings.

• Clear recent sites: the “Clear” button on the start page.

• Delete a script: in Scripts, choose Delete on that script.

• Change ad choices: the ad privacy choices in the app's Settings (where the law requires them) and, on your device, Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

• Remove ads: Premium.

• Remove everything: delete the app.

We hold no personal data about you on our side, so there is nothing for us to export or delete. For data held by Google or RevenueCat, use their privacy pages above, or write to us and we will help.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will be in the app with a new date at the top. Questions about privacy? Write to support@taphelper.app.
